About This Role

<p>We are looking for an enthusiastic Electronics Engineering Intern to gain hands-on experience designing, building, testing, and debugging electronic hardware. Working alongside senior engineers, you’ll contribute across the development cycle—from schematic and PCB design through prototyping, testing, debugging, and documentation.</p> <p><strong>Responsibilities and Duties</strong></p> <ul> <li>Build, assemble, test, and debug prototype circuits and PCB assemblies.</li> <li>Assist with schematic capture and PCB design.</li> <li>Use lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, power supplies, and signal generators for testing and troubleshooting.</li> <li>Support soldering, rework, and other hands-on laboratory activities.</li> <li>Develop and test firmware for microcontrollers and embedded systems.</li> <li>Analyse test results and document designs, tests, and project progress.</li> <li>Work with senior engineers to troubleshoot technical issues and improve hardware performance.</li> <li>Follow engineering and laboratory safety procedures.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Qualifications and Skills</strong></p> <ul> <li>Currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or a related field.</li> <li>Understanding of analog and digital circuit design.</li> <li>Familiarity with PCB design tools such as Altium, KiCad, or Eagle.</li> <li>Hands-on experience with electronics lab equipment and basic soldering.</li> <li>Programming experience in C, C++, Python, or similar.</li> <li>Familiarity with STM32, ESP32, Arduino, or other microcontrollers.</li> <li>Knowledge of communication protocols such as I²C, SPI, UART, CAN, or USB is a plus.</li> <li>Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.</li> <li>Hands-on experience through university, robotics, or personal electronics projects is highly valued.</li> <li>EU citizenship required. </li> </ul> <p><strong>Benefits</strong></p> <ul> <li>Flexible working hours</li> <li>Generous holiday allowance</li> <li>Car parking </li> <li>Enhanced maternity &amp; paternity leave</li> <li>Mental health and wellbeing support</li> </ul> <p><strong>About Auterion</strong></p> <p>We are building the leading software platform for AI-powered autonomous systems for enterprise and government customers.
