We work with the Department of War to provide the high-speed capabilities our nation and its allies need to maintain a durable, asymmetric advantage.</div><div><br></div><div> <h3>About The Role:&nbsp;</h3> </div> <div>As a Flight Software Intern, you will support the design and implementation of mission systems for uncrewed high-speed aircraft. You will work with the A-GRA (OMS/UCI) framework to help develop interoperable systems and messaging architectures.</div> <div> <div>&nbsp;</div> <div>Fall: Around 16 weeks (August - December)</div> </div> <div>&nbsp;</div><h3>Responsibilities:</h3> <li>Support the design and implementation of systems using A-GRA (OMS/UCI) for uncrewed high-speed aircraft</li> <li>Assist in developing and integrating messaging systems that enable communication between mission subsystems</li> <li>Work with messaging standards, protocols, and APIs to support system interoperability</li> <li>Collaborate with engineering teams to test, validate, and refine mission system interfaces and integrations</li> <h3>Requirements:</h3> <li>Pursuing a degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.</li> <li>Entry level experience of C++, C, or other embedded programming languages.&nbsp;</li> <li>Experience with working with hardware integrations and embedded computers (Raspberry PIs, arduinos, STM32s).&nbsp;</li> <li>Strong understanding of engineering first principles</li> <li>Demonstrated ability to work within cross-functional teams</li> <li>Interest in mission systems, autonomy, or aerospace systems integration</li> <li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills</li> <li>GPA of 3.0 or above</li>
