The ideal candidate is intellectually curious, competitive, and excited by the opportunity to be the first person to tackle a problem. You should have the flexibility to partner with teams from across the business, such as translating engineering and supply-chain challenges into quantitative performance measures and financial solutions. Foremost, you should be energized to support a defense aviation company that is redefining the pace of hardware R&amp;D in the 21^st century.</p><h3>Responsibilities</h3><div> <li>Own end-to-end financial models for products and business lines, with responsibility to gather and sanitize data across the business</li> <li>Develop novel financial frameworks to support strategic decisions across manufacturing, supply chain, facilities, and other functions</li> <li>Execute rapid, scrappy, “80% fidelity” analyses on short timelines that later feed into scalable, long-term solutions</li> <li>Create transparency into manufacturing costs alongside FP&amp;A, and explore cost reduction roadmaps for major initiatives</li> <li>Maintain competitive landscape databases and target screening to identify emerging opportunities and threats</li> <li>Support investor relations functions, including drafting of executive &amp; board level materials</li> <li>Partner with Advanced Development, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and Growth functions to provide financial support for multi-year endeavors and proposals</li> </div><h3>Requirements</h3><div> <li>1-3 years of experience in one or more of the following: corporate finance, investment banking, FP&amp;A, consulting, or relevant finance roles at a high-growth hardware or manufacturing startup</li> <li>Bachelor’s degree from an accredited US institution, Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related field preferred</li> <li>Strong preference for experience or demonstrated interest in aerospace and defense industry, government contracting, or other highly regulated field</li> <li>Advanced proficiency in Excel, including dynamic financial models and scenario analyses</li> <li>Willingness to learn and engage with corporate ERP &amp; FP&amp;A systems (Netsuite, Manufacturo, Adaptive)</li> <li>Demonstrated ability to thrive in a past-paced, dynamic startup environment</li> <li>Self-starter comfortable working in a hybrid work environment, where many teams members will be located in cross-continent settings</li> <li>Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with customers, internal engineer &amp; test teams, and suppliers effectively</li> <li>U.S. Citizen or lawful permanent resident status</li> </div>
