We work with the Department of War to provide the high-speed capabilities our nation and its allies need to maintain a durable, asymmetric advantage.</span></div><div><br></div><div><span style="font-size: 10pt;">We are seeking an&nbsp;</span><strong style="font-size: 10pt;">Avionics</strong><span style="font-size: 10pt;">&nbsp;</span><strong style="font-size: 10pt;">Integration Engineer&nbsp;</strong><span style="font-size: 10pt;">to support vehicle avionics hardware from design release through&nbsp;assembly, test, and final delivery.&nbsp;&nbsp;In this&nbsp;role,&nbsp; you&nbsp;will&nbsp;be a critical part of a cross-disciplinary team supporting&nbsp;aggressive development timelines&nbsp;for every electrical system on-vehicle.&nbsp;&nbsp;This position influences design and system architecture trades based on manufacturability and performance during test.&nbsp;&nbsp;You will also support standing up our internal AVI shop&nbsp;as we develop and qualify processes to produce&nbsp;harnesses,&nbsp; build&nbsp;boxes,&nbsp;&nbsp;and&nbsp;perform checkouts.&nbsp;</span></div><h3>Responsibilities</h3> <li>Provide design feedback for&nbsp;manufacturability,&nbsp; assembly,&nbsp; test,&nbsp; integration,&nbsp; and&nbsp;transport&nbsp;&nbsp;</li> <li>Establish and&nbsp;maintain&nbsp;build roadmaps for assemblies you&nbsp;own;&nbsp; to&nbsp;ensure alignment between key&nbsp;stakeholders,&nbsp; drive&nbsp;hardware and tooling on-time&nbsp;deliveries,&nbsp; minimize&nbsp;build&nbsp;serialization,&nbsp; and&nbsp;escalate and&nbsp;eliminate&nbsp;blockers&nbsp;&nbsp;</li> <li>Develop and release build&nbsp;CONOPS,&nbsp;work&nbsp;instructions,&nbsp; standard&nbsp;processes&nbsp;and&nbsp;procedures, and&nbsp;optimize&nbsp;existing processes to enable&nbsp;high&nbsp;quality,&nbsp; high&nbsp;speed&nbsp;execution&nbsp;&nbsp;</li> <li>Support first article builds in a fast-paced,&nbsp;early-development environment&nbsp;</li> <li>Own&nbsp;design,&nbsp;process,&nbsp;and&nbsp;CapEx&nbsp;trades to support build and unlock key&nbsp;capabilities,&nbsp; and&nbsp;contribute to development of long-term, scalable manufacturing systems and infrastructure&nbsp;&nbsp;</li> <li>Drive <a rel="noopener noreferrer" href="http://make-vs.-buy" class="postings-link">make-vs.-buy</a>&nbsp;decisions; collaborate&nbsp;with Engineering and Supply Chain&nbsp;&nbsp;</li> <li>Provide hands-on floor support during build and test&nbsp;</li> <li>Drive continuous improvement measures across the&nbsp;factory,&nbsp; including&nbsp;tooling,&nbsp;ERP&nbsp;/&nbsp;MES&nbsp;workflows,&nbsp;and&nbsp;internal standards and specifications&nbsp;</li> <h3>Basic Qualifications</h3> <li>Degree in Mechanical&nbsp;Engineering,&nbsp; Electrical&nbsp;Engineering,&nbsp; or&nbsp;related technical field&nbsp;</li> <li>3+ years of hands-on experience building hardware in a manufacturing or integration environment&nbsp;&nbsp;</li> <li>Familiar with aerospace assembly best practices&nbsp;&nbsp;</li> <li>Experience writing build and test procedures for technicians and specialists&nbsp;</li> <li>Exposure to electrical harness design and mechanical routing in 3D CAD software&nbsp;</li> <li>Collaborate with integrated product teams to ensure system-level avionics design meets needs for&nbsp;structures,&nbsp;propulsion,&nbsp; and&nbsp;software systems&nbsp;integration and test&nbsp;</li> <li>Comfortable communicating across&nbsp;design,&nbsp; manufacturing,&nbsp; supply&nbsp;chain,&nbsp;test,&nbsp;and&nbsp;logistics&nbsp;teams to ensure hardware quality and pace of execution&nbsp;&nbsp;</li> <li>Self-starter who can define and roll out new processes from&nbsp;scratch,&nbsp;working&nbsp;collaboratively with&nbsp;technicians,&nbsp;engineers,&nbsp; and&nbsp;external vendors&nbsp;&nbsp;</li> <li>Proficient in&nbsp;CAD,&nbsp;basic&nbsp;design or test&nbsp;analysis,&nbsp;and&nbsp;first-principles hand calculations&nbsp;&nbsp;</li> <h3>Preferred Skills and Experience</h3> <li>Experience supporting&nbsp;aerospace, defense, or other mission-critical mechanical hardware&nbsp;</li> <li>Strong ability to read and interpret&nbsp;engineering drawings&nbsp;and specifications&nbsp;</li> <li>Experience authoring and improving&nbsp;work instructions, travelers, and build documentation&nbsp;</li> <li>Familiarity with&nbsp;PLM/MES systems&nbsp;and production change control in a regulated environment&nbsp;</li> <li>Hands-on exposure to&nbsp;tooling, fixtures, or assembly aids&nbsp;on the manufacturing floor&nbsp;</li> <h3>Additional Requirements</h3> <li>Must be willing to be hands-on in a manufacturing and test environment daily.&nbsp;</li> <li>Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and work safely around high-pressure systems and industrial equipment.&nbsp;</li> <li>Extended or flexible hours may be required to support critical build and test milestones.&nbsp;</li>
