<div class="content-intro"><p>Anduril Industries is a defense technology company with a mission to transform U.S. and allied military capabilities with advanced technology. By bringing the expertise, technology, and business model of the 21st century’s most innovative companies to the defense industry, Anduril is changing how military systems are designed, built and sold. Anduril’s family of systems is powered by Lattice OS, an AI-powered operating system that turns thousands of data streams into a realtime, 3D command and control center. As the world enters an era of strategic competition, Anduril is committed to bringing cutting-edge autonomy, AI, computer vision, sensor fusion, and networking technology to the military in months, not years.</p></div><h3 class="font-claude-response-body break-words whitespace-normal"><strong>About the Team</strong></h3> <p class="font-claude-response-body break-words whitespace-normal">Connected Warfare builds the systems that give warfighters a decisive edge in real time — command and control platforms like the Menace Family-of-Systems that fuse sensor data, communications, and autonomy into deployable hardware that works in contested environments. The firmware team is where the product meets reality. We write the code that runs closest to the hardware — the drivers, the protocols, the real-time control loops that make these systems work when it matters. If a new board comes in, we bring it to life. If something breaks at the hardware-software boundary, we find it and fix it. We move fast, ship often, and work directly alongside Electrical Engineering on some of the most complex autonomous systems being built anywhere.</p> <h3 class="font-claude-response-body break-words whitespace-normal"><strong>About the Role</strong></h3> <p class="font-claude-response-body break-words whitespace-normal">We're looking for a firmware engineer who wants to grow their embedded skills on hardware that ships to the field. You'll write real-time microcontroller code, build reusable drivers for sensors and peripherals, and debug the cross-disciplinary problems that live between schematics and software. You'll work shoulder-to-shoulder with electrical engineers, learn to read schematics and datasheets, and see your code running on deployed systems within months of writing it. This is a role for someone who wants to build — not maintain — and who's excited about owning real firmware on real hardware from day one.</p> <p class="font-claude-response-body break-words whitespace-normal"><strong>What You'll Do</strong></p> <ul class="[li_&]:mb-0 [li_&]:mt-1 [li_&]:gap-1 [&:not(:last-child)_ul]:pb-1 [&:not(:last-child)_ol]:pb-1 list-disc flex flex-col gap-1 pl-8 mb-3 print:block print:space-y-1"> <li class="font-claude-response-body whitespace-normal break-words pl-2">Write firmware in C for microcontrollers across Connected Warfare platforms</li> <li class="font-claude-response-body whitespace-normal break-words pl-2">Develop and integrate reusable device drivers for sensors, peripherals, and communication interfaces</li> <li class="font-claude-response-body whitespace-normal break-words pl-2">Debug issues that span electrical, firmware, and software boundaries using bench tools and embedded debugging techniques</li> <li class="font-claude-response-body whitespace-normal break-words pl-2">Support board bring-up alongside the Electrical Engineering team — reviewing schematics, validating interfaces, and getting new hardware running</li> <li class="font-claude-response-body whitespace-normal break-words pl-2">Contribute to firmware architecture decisions as the codebase grows</li> <li class="font-claude-response-body whitespace-normal break-words pl-2">Ship code to production systems that are deployed in the field</li> </ul> <p class="font-claude-response-body break-words whitespace-normal"><strong>Required Qualifications</strong></p> <ul class="[li_&]:mb-0 [li_&]:mt-1 [li_&]:gap-1 [&:not(:last-child)_ul]:pb-1 [&:not(:last-child)_ol]:pb-1 list-disc flex flex-col gap-1 pl-8 mb-3 print:block print:space-y-1"> <li class="font-claude-response-body whitespace-normal break-words pl-2">BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent industry experience</li> <li class="font-claude-response-body whitespace-normal break-words pl-2">1+ years of firmware or embedded software development experience (internships and personal projects count if the work is real)</li> <li class="font-claude-response-body whitespace-normal break-words pl-2">Solid C coding ability for embedded systems</li> <li class="font-claude-response-body whitespace-normal break-words pl-2">Experience developing firmware in bare-metal or RTOS environments</li> <li class="font-claude-response-body whitespace-normal break-words pl-2">Familiarity with common bus protocols (SPI, I2C, UART, or similar)</li> <li class="font-claude-response-body whitespace-normal break-words pl-2">Willingness to learn — you don't need to know everything, but you need to be hungry to figure it out</li> <li class="font-claude-response-body whitespace-normal break-words pl-2">Must be a U.S. Person due to required access to U.S. export-controlled information or facilities</li> </ul> <p class="font-claude-response-body break-words whitespace-normal"><strong>Preferred Qualifications</strong></p> <ul class="[li_&]:mb-0 [li_&]:mt-1 [li_&]:gap-1 [&:not(:last-child)_ul]:pb-1 [&:not(:last-child)_ol]:pb-1 list-disc flex flex-col gap-1 pl-8 mb-3 print:block print:space-y-1"> <li class="font-claude-response-body whitespace-normal break-words pl-2">Experience with one or more microcontroller cores (ARM, AVR, MSP430, PIC, etc.)</li> <li class="font-claude-response-body whitespace-normal break-words pl-2">Experience integrating microcontrollers with analog and digital sensors</li> <li class="font-claude-response-body whitespace-normal break-words pl-2">Debugging experience with JTAG, SWD, oscilloscopes, or logic analyzers</li> <li class="font-claude-response-body whitespace-normal break-words pl-2">Familiarity with CAN, Ethernet, USB, RS232, or RS485</li> <li class="font-claude-response-body whitespace-normal break-words pl-2">Personal or academic projects that show you build things — not just coursework</li> </ul><div class="content-pay-transparency"><div class="pay-input"><div class="title">US Salary Range</div><div class="pay-range"><span>$166,000</span><span class="divider">—</span><span>$220,000 USD</span></div></div></div><div class="content-conclusion"><p><span data-contrast="auto">The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only.
