About This Role

<p>We’re looking for an experienced Site Security Manager who will play a key role in ensuring the safety and security of our employees, facilities, assets, and operations in Munich and the Munich area. </p> <p>The Site Security Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day operational security of the site, including the coordination of security personnel, access control, visitor management, security systems, incident response, and the implementation of established security procedures.</p> <p>You’ll work closely with the Security Manager, external security providers, Facility Management, Operations, and other relevant internal stakeholders.</p> <p>The role requires a hands-on security professional who can independently manage daily security operations while ensuring that significant incidents, risks, and security concerns are appropriately escalated to the Security Manager.</p> <p><strong>Responsibilities and Duties</strong></p> <ul> <li>The role requires practical knowledge of physical security systems and processes, including CCTV, access control systems, alarm management, visitor management, key management, and security reporting tools. A good understanding of physical, technical, and organizational security measures is required.</li> <li>The Site Security Manager works independently in managing day-to-day security operations within established policies and procedures. Routine operational decisions are handled independently, while significant incidents, major security risks, policy changes, or strategic decisions are escalated to the Regional Security Manager.</li> <li>The role is responsible for the operational security of the site, including security personnel, shift operations, access and visitor management, patrols, security systems, incident response, documentation, and coordination with external security providers. The Site Security Manager supports the Regional Security Manager in implementing and maintaining site security standards. </li> <li>The role involves handling a variety of security-related situations, including unauthorized access, alarm events, security system failures, suspicious activity, employee or visitor-related incidents, procedural violations, and emergency situations. The Site Security Manager must assess risks quickly, coordinate the appropriate response, and ensure proper escalation and documentation</li> <li>The role has a direct impact on the safety and security of employees, visitors, company assets, facilities, and daily operations. Effective leadership and security management contribute to business continuity, operational resilience, and the overall security culture of the site.</li> <li>The Site Security Manager will work closely with the Regional Security Manager, security personnel, external security providers, Facility Management, Operations, IT, and other internal stakeholders. External collaboration may include police, fire and emergency services, security vendors, contractors, and other relevant authorities or service providers.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Qualifications and Skills</strong></p> <ul> <li>Several years of professional experience in security operations, site security, industrial security, corporate security, or a comparable security environment.</li> <li>Experience in industrial, production, defence, critical infrastructure, technology, or other high-security environments is preferred.</li> <li>Relevant security qualification, such as §34a GewO qualification or an equivalent recognized professional background.
