In this role, you will execute critical tests on a variety of battery cells and packs and also manage the lab's operational rythm. You will manage test campaigns, develop test procedures, sequences, and data processing. You will operate and troubleshoot battery cyclers and thermal chambers, analyze test data, and collaborate closely with systems engineers to drive product improvements, all while maintaining high safety standards. </p> <h4 id="BatteryTestTechnician-WHATYOU’LLDO">WHAT YOU’LL DO</h4> <ul class="posting-requirements plain-list"> <ul> <li data-uuid="c279c2cb-0566-4451-92ac-056b4d7c7974">Execute the entire battery test lifecycle, from installing instrumentation through to assisting the engineering team in data acquisition, and reporting.</li> <li data-uuid="a595342e-f8fd-4788-8c18-d287cbbcd5fa">Champion all safety protocols within the battery lab, ensuring a secure environment for all personnel and equipment.</li> <li data-uuid="99d9e493-ff23-4133-b5f4-e3ff0a4585c7">Support the operational readiness of the lab by assisting in equipment maintenance, calibration schedules, and inventory of necessary instrumentation and consumables.</li> </ul> </ul> <h4 id="BatteryTestTechnician-REQUIREDQUALIFICATIONS">REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS</h4> <ul class="posting-requirements plain-list"> <ul> <li data-uuid="7e89f8e1-c47e-4ad6-a921-e373e946400b">5+ years of hands-on hardware test environment, with at least 3+ years focused specifically on battery systems.</li> <li data-uuid="9908b6fe-2d3d-423d-8e1e-83a60c90bac4">Demonstrated hands-on experience executing a variety of battery performance and lifecycle tests (e.g. HPPC, cycle life, calendar life) </li> <li data-uuid="97a61eea-736d-418b-87a3-06d9bdfa772b">Must be a U.S. Person due to required access to U.S. export controlled information or facilities</li> </ul> </ul> <h4 id="BatteryTestTechnician-PREFERREDQUALIFICATIONS">PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS</h4> <ul> <li> <ul> <li data-uuid="aad90fda-443b-4ac1-ac07-de55bdc8fc1c">Knowledge in a data analysis language such as Python or MATLAB for scripting and data processing.</li> <li data-uuid="b34b2018-fd74-444b-ab6e-7d7c48b72811">Experience with Arbin, Maccor, or other common battery cycler hardware and software.</li> <li data-uuid="cc947d2a-79ee-4b5a-8fb4-c9fdaa13773f">Experience with 3D modeling software and PLM (Siemens NX, Teamcenter, etc.)</li> <li data-uuid="7f562c9d-69de-4fca-a4d1-cd8fc8bae652">Familiarity with CAN communication tools (e.g., PCAN, Vector CANalyzer) </li> </ul> </li> </ul><div class="content-pay-transparency"><div class="pay-input"><div class="title">US Salary Range</div><div class="pay-range"><span>$41</span><span class="divider">&mdash;</span><span>$54 USD</span></div></div></div><div class="content-conclusion"><p><span data-contrast="auto">The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only.
