We work with the Department of War to provide the high-speed capabilities our nation and its allies need to maintain a durable, asymmetric advantage.</div><div><br></div><div><span style="font-size: 16px;">We are seeking an&nbsp;</span><strong style="font-size: 16px;">Operations&nbsp;Supervisor</strong><span style="font-size: 16px;">&nbsp;to lead all&nbsp;logistics&nbsp;execution in a fast-paced, hardware-focused startup environment as we stand up a new facility. This role owns material movement through multiple new factories as we bring them online;&nbsp;supports development and refinement of our MES,&nbsp;ERP,&nbsp;and&nbsp;other digital tools;&nbsp;and&nbsp;defining and iterating on the processes we use to deliver fast planes fast – literally.&nbsp; This hands-on leadership position oversees the Production Coordination and Inventory teams&nbsp;across all Los Angeles-area factories.&nbsp;</span></div><h3>Responsibilities</h3> <li>Own all inbound and outbound&nbsp;logistics&nbsp;operations, including receiving, inspection staging, warehouse management, shipping, and internal material movement.&nbsp;</li> <li>Stand up warehouse infrastructure during facility build-out, including layout design, racking strategy, bin location systems, material flow paths, and dock operations.&nbsp;</li> <li>Develop and implement standard work (SOPs), visual management systems, and disciplined transaction control within ERP/MRP systems.&nbsp;</li> <li>Lead and supervise&nbsp;logistics&nbsp;technicians/material handlers; set daily priorities,&nbsp;allocate&nbsp;resources, and drive accountability to safety, quality, and schedule.&nbsp;</li> <li>Establish and&nbsp;maintain&nbsp;inventory accuracy through cycle counting, reconciliation, and root cause corrective actions.&nbsp;</li> <li>Implement and manage kitting, point-of-use replenishment, and production line support strategies to prevent downtime.&nbsp;</li> <li>Execute domestic and international shipments, including carrier coordination, packaging standards, documentation, and compliance requirements.&nbsp;</li> <li>Partner cross-functionally with Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Quality, EHS, and Facilities to support production ramp and site readiness.&nbsp;</li> <li>Track and improve key performance metrics (dock-to-stock time, inventory accuracy, pick accuracy, on-time shipments).&nbsp;</li> <li>Drive a culture of operational excellence, safety discipline, and continuous improvement.&nbsp;</li> <h3>Basic Qualifications</h3> <li>4+ years of experience in&nbsp;logistics, warehouse operations, or materials management within a manufacturing or hardware environment.&nbsp;</li> <li>1+ year of direct team leadership experience (lead, supervisor, or similar).&nbsp;</li> <li>Working knowledge of inventory control practices, shipping/receiving operations, and warehouse best practices (FIFO, 5S, cycle counting).&nbsp;</li> <li>Experience using ERP/MRP systems for inventory transactions and material tracking.&nbsp;</li> <li>Demonstrated ability to build or improve operational processes in dynamic or ambiguous environments.&nbsp;</li> <li>Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced setting.&nbsp;</li> <h3>Preferred Skills and Experience </h3> <li>Experience supporting aerospace, defense, automotive, or high-complexity hardware manufacturing environments.&nbsp;</li> <li>Prior involvement in new facility&nbsp;launch, warehouse relocation, or production ramp efforts.&nbsp;</li> <li>Familiarity with export compliance, ITAR-controlled material handling, and/or hazmat shipping regulations.&nbsp;</li> <li>Lean manufacturing or continuous improvement experience (Kaizen, standard work, visual controls).&nbsp;</li> <li>Experience implementing warehouse management systems (WMS) or&nbsp;optimizing&nbsp;ERP workflows.&nbsp;</li> <li>PIT (forklift/reach truck) certification or experience operating warehouse equipment.&nbsp;</li> <h3>Additional Skills & Requirements </h3> <li>Ability to work extended hours or weekends during critical build, ramp, or delivery milestones.&nbsp;</li> <li>Ability to lift and move materials consistent with warehouse operations.&nbsp;</li> <li>Willingness to work hands-on on the warehouse floor while also managing administrative responsibilities.&nbsp;</li> <li>Must be able to obtain and&nbsp;maintain&nbsp;any required security clearances or compliance credentials, if applicable.&nbsp;</li>
