The test team works with hardware owners to define testing requirements, design & implement test fixtures, and assist in data collection to inform and verify design decisions.</div> <div> </div> <div>Structures Test - ATL </div> <div>Subsystem Test - LA </div> <div> <div> <div> </div> <div>Fall: Around 16 weeks (August - December)</div> <div> </div> <div> </div> </div> <div> </div> </div><h3>Responsibilities:</h3> <li>Design test fixtures and interfaces.</li> <li>Perform analysis to determine target test points, instrumentation, and ensure sufficient test safety margins.</li> <li>Organize and run test design reviews with stakeholders in cross-functional teams </li> <li>Create manufacturing plans for test components/fixtures and work directly with manufacturing/build teams to monitor build progress and assist in resolving issues. </li> <li>Design and release flight-like hardware as necessary for test (including CAD and drawing creation) </li> <h3>Minimum Requirements:</h3> <li>Practical experience designing, building, and testing vehicles through internships, studies or projects.</li> <li>Must be currently enrolled in a STEM program at an accredited college or university (undergraduate student in your third or fourth year of study, or enrolled in a Master's or Ph.D. program).</li> <li>Strong interest in testing.</li> <li>Strong understanding of engineering first principles.</li> <li>Demonstrated ability to work within cross-functional teams.</li> <li>Enthusiasm for aviation and Hermeus's mission.</li> <li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills.</li> <li>GPA of 3.0 or above.</li>
